Design100: Design·people·life

设计以人为本,是解决问题的智慧,是衔接人与生活的纽带,更是推动人类创新的内在动力。Design100以百余件与人的生活息息相关的物品,探讨“何为设计,为何设计”。

1号展厅作为序厅,邀请多名中国著名设计师、艺术家,围绕“设计、人、生活”展开主题创作。百余件物品相互对比与关联,构筑一座层叠的巨型装置,营造出一个沉浸式的“生活设计宇宙”。

流变传承:中国设计叙事

Dynamic Heritage: Chinese Design Narratives

“设计”一词尚未在中文里被定义时,中国的设计逻辑与观念早已流转千年。

以设计的视角,重新审视中国古代文化。本展览从中国文化的汉字与器物,到建筑、家具与生活方式等重要文化模块追本溯源,展现设计在中国自主演化的发展框架。结合经典展陈与当代数字技术,打造一个中国古代设计的沉浸体验空间,带领观众梳理藏在生活智慧中的中国设计谱系。

设计永恒:世界现当代设计

Design Eternal:Modern and Contemporary Design of the world

三百余件大师代表作,群星闪耀,带领观众穿梭世界现当代设计史。

观众可以在展览中领略风格派、包豪斯、孟菲斯等设计思想与实践,通过众多里程碑式的作品感受路德维希·密斯·凡·德·罗、勒·柯布西耶、伊姆斯夫妇、阿尔瓦·阿尔托等设计师的时代影响。在历史线性叙事的逻辑之上,让观众感知到设计与当下生活的紧密联结。无论设计如何演进,它都不会改变以人和自然为本,而这也使设计得以永恒。

当代力量:中国/深圳设计探索

Contemporary Forces: Design Exploration from China/Shenzhen

步入一部正在书写的设计史,在回顾、观察与展望中,看见中国/深圳当代设计的蓬勃力量。

本展览以双展厅叙事呈现,分为《时代语境下的设计:1980s——》(Dialogues Across Time: China/Shenzhen Design 1980s–Now 3A展厅)与《未来线索 全域视野》(Future Frontiers: Unbounded Creativity 3B展厅)两个分展厅。前者通过珍贵历史档案、设计案例与故事,生动还原改革开放40余年来,深圳这座“设计之都”的发展成就;后者则聚焦当代中国设计师的先锋实践与新锐探索,探寻设计如何回应复杂多变的时代。中国/深圳设计从汲取外部营养、探索方向,到建立体系、走向成熟,并在今天孕育出新的生态和更多可能。

匠作中国:传统造物与设计新生

China in Craftsmanship:Traditional Crafting and Design Regeneration

在物质机械化生产的今天,匠作中国以工艺的过去和未来,唤起人与物关系的重新体认,亦是探讨人在世界中如何在场。

展厅汇聚几十位匠人、设计师、艺术家的经典之作,系统呈现陶瓷、漆艺、剪纸、竹编等中国传统工艺的文化实践,同时涵盖金属、纤维纺织等工艺。而设计,在与工艺的交融中,不仅是审美转化的工具,更是传统工艺与现代产业、城市生活、全球市场连接的枢纽。

百年品牌荣宝斋与西泠印社应邀入驻匠作中国品牌馆,诠释传统穿越时间的力量,探索未来表达。

If the sky above a city could be translated into another language,

then the flight paths of migratory birds would be its ancient script — inscribing stories of journeying and homecoming.

英国当代艺术家埃斯·德芙琳(Es Devlin)为深圳湾文化广场的“浮水石”展厅量身打造的展览《我心归处》(

Take Me Home

)。直径21米、高15米的展厅空间的每一处都展示着她的创作心绪。此次展览呼应了镌刻在深圳天空上史前候鸟的迁徙路线,亦成为深圳湾文化广场新的委创标签。德芙琳的众多艺术实践,兼具私密与公众性,饱含个人叙事与群体互动的双重特质:透过她三十余载艺术生涯中亲手绘制的2000余幅素描手迹,观众能真切触摸艺术家的笔触和思想。

作为德芙琳在亚洲的首个大型委创项目,作品《带我回家》将马岩松先生设计理念中“远古与未来”的雕塑式室内建筑空间,转化为静谧的冥想空间。在一层展厅,德芙琳邀请观众静坐品读摘自75本深刻影响她的创作哲思与实践路径的书籍片段。其灵感源自豪尔赫・路易斯・博尔赫斯

的隽永箴言:“我不确定自己是否真实存在。我由我所读过的每一本书,爱过的每一个人......”。艺术家精选的语句,通过一条近60米长的LED屏幕展示并无缝嵌入由2000余本德芙琳的手绘复刻素描本构成的装置之中。

这些素描勾勒出了多元而深厚的创作图景:对伦敦濒危物种精微的观察记录,及艺术家为家人、朋友或陌生人绘制的肖像,更囊括了三十年来她为众多演出、装置作品和公共建筑创作所勾勒的设计概念草图。每隔五分钟,艺术家会邀请观众从墙面上带走一幅素描。这一诗意的举动让人想起古巴裔美国艺术家费利克斯·冈萨雷斯·托雷斯

——德芙琳延续了他的理念:反对把一切都变成交易,在当代艺术里重拾“参与的仪式”。

循迹而上,一幅8分钟的影像长卷似动态岩画镌刻在室内穹顶之上。该影像以 “迁徙” 为核心展开深邃沉思 —— 关乎飞鸟、人类、山峦与磁场的动态图景,英国作曲团队 Polyphonia 创作的音律,为这份沉思奠定成悠远的吟唱。展览的巧思在于它让观众手中的素描完成一场蜕变:从一件纪念信物,化为一颗象征希望的 “种子”,由观众将其传播至四方。这张承载着笔触、思想微光与情感温度的纸片,从伦敦到深圳,再奔赴世界各处,凝聚成一份跨越山海的迁徙记忆。

Floating Stone Gallery

. A landmark commission by Shenzhen Bay Culture Square, this monumental installation responds to the prehistoric migratory bird flyway that scores Shenzhen’s skies. Like much of Devlin’s practice, the work is at once intimate and colossal, personal and participatory, offering a tangible encounter with the artist’s hand and mind through 2000 hand-drawn traces sketched over the past 30 years of her life.

Take me home

transforms Ma Yansong’s ancient futuristic sculptural stone architecture into a chapel-like space of meditation and ritual. Visitors are invited to sit in the first floor area and read phrases from 75 books that have most influenced the artist’s philosophy and practice. Drawing on Jorge Luis Borges’ phrase ‘

I am not sure I exist actually, I am every book I’ve ever read, everyone I’ve every loved..’,

75 phrases chosen by the artist are beamed through a 60 metre wide strip of luminous LED embedded into an assemblage of 2000 replicas of Es Devlin’s hand drawn sketchbooks.

The drawings include closely observed studies of London’s endangered species, early portraits of the artist’s family, friends and strangers, as well as three decades of concept sketches of some of her iconic performance and installation works. Every five minutes the artist invites the viewer to take one sketch from the wall home with them. The gesture is reminiscent of the work of Cuban-American artist Felix Gonzalez Torres (1956-1996), drawing on his prescient resistance to the transactional, and his reassertion of ritual in contemporary art.

Visitors then ascend to the second floor where an 8 minute projected film is inscribed like an animated cave painting across the interior domed ceiling. A meditation on migration: of birds, humans, mountains and magnetic poles, underscored in cello and piano by British composers Polyphonia, the work is conceived to catalyse the sketch that visitors hold in their hands: from souvenir to seed, to be propagated by each visitor: a migratory legacy of paper, ideas and hand-drawn traces from London to Shenzhen and out to the world.

走进这个关于椅子的“剧场”,观众将从最熟悉的日常物件出发,重新感受人与自然、社会与技术之间的深层张力。

本次展览由深圳湾文化广场与伦敦设计博物馆联合策划,开启双方为期三年的战略性国际合作新篇章。以椅子为媒介,围绕材料诗学、身体之道、流动身份、生态寓言、关系拓扑、数字共生六个主题,展开一场关于设计、社会与未来的对话。在此语境中,椅子不再只是器物,而是思想的装置、世界的介入者,它在沉默中折射出设计史上最为丰富的实验与创新,也不断提醒我们:设计如何在日常之物中塑造我们的生活与未来。

Stepping into this “theater of chairs,” visitors embark from the most familiar of everyday objects to rediscover the profound tensions between humans and nature, society and technology.

This exhibition, curated in collaboration with the Design Museum, marks the start of a three-year strategic international partnership. Using the chair as a medium, it unfolds across six themes—Material Expressions, Body Politics, Identity in Flux, Ecological Fables, Relational Topologies, and Digital Hybrids—opening a dialogue between design, society, and the future. Within this context, the chair is no longer merely an object, but a device of thought and an active agent in the world. In its silence, it refracts the richest experiments and innovations in the history of design, while continually reminding us how design, embedded in the most ordinary things, shapes both our present lives and the futures we imagine.
