选择活动类型的建议：沙龙活动针对可以利用英语完成对话和交流的参与者。如果您连单词都不会读，建议参加初级学习小组或者网络学习小组；如果您具备一定的英语能力（比如参加过大学英语考试等），但还无法张口说英语，建议参加中级学习小组。

（4）沙龙活动要求参与者每次都通过指定邮件报名，不接受空降，你能否做到每次活动提前报名？

（5）在英语角沙龙活动的现场、QQ 群、微信群等渠道，禁止一切宣传或推销商业活动的行为，禁止一切宣传其他英语沙龙活动的行为，你能否遵守这些规则？

（6）是通过什么途径知道此地英语沙龙？

（1）连续迟到 2 次，将会把参与者从活动群中踢除。

（2）不愿意轮流做主持人的，不予通过审核。

（3）一个月至少保证参加 2 次活动，否则将会把参与者从活动群中踢除。

Brief introduction：

As the most important traditional festival in China, the Spring Festival, also called Lunar New Year, is a time for people to celebrate traditions, strengthen family bonds and welcome a new year. In 2026, the Year of the Horse, people across China carry out a variety of traditional activities, which reflect the profound cultural connotation and folk customs of the festival. These activities are widely practiced and have been passed down for thousands of years, becoming an indispensable part of Chinese people’s Spring Festival.

Preparations for the Spring Festival usually start several days before Spring Festival Eve. A key activity is "sweeping the dust", a traditional custom that means thoroughly cleaning houses and yards. People believe this practice can sweep away bad luck accumulated in the past year and create a clean environment for welcoming new blessings. Besides, pasting Spring Festival couplets is another common preparation. Couplets, written with neat calligraphy and auspicious words, are stuck on doors and windows to express people’s wishes for prosperity, health and happiness in the new year. Meanwhile, purchasing New Year goods is a necessary part of the preparation. People usually buy various snacks, fruits, new clothes and other items, making the market bustling with a strong festive atmosphere.

Spring Festival Eve is the core of the festival, with a series of important activities. The most essential one is having a reunion dinner with family members. No matter how far people are from home, they will try their best to return to gather with their families. The dinner table is always filled with delicious dishes with special meanings. For example, dumplings are a must, as their shape resembles ancient Chinese gold or silver ingots, symbolizing wealth. Fish is also an essential dish, because its Chinese pronunciation "yu" is the same as the word for "surplus", implying abundance in the new year. After dinner, watching the Spring Festival Gala is a popular activity for most families. At midnight, setting off firecrackers and fireworks is a traditional way to welcome the new year, as the sound and light are believed to drive away evil spirits and bring good luck.

During the Spring Festival holiday after Spring Festival Eve, people have various activities to celebrate. Visiting relatives and friends is a common practice, through which people exchange greetings, share New Year gifts and strengthen interpersonal relationships. In addition, many places hold traditional folk activities, such as lion dances and temple fairs. Lion dances are lively and vivid, symbolizing courage and prosperity, and often attract a large number of people to watch. Temple fairs gather various stalls selling traditional handicrafts, snacks and toys, allowing people to experience strong folk customs and enjoy the joy of the festival.

These activities during the Spring Festival not only carry forward Chinese traditional culture but also let people feel the warmth of family and the joy of reunion. They are the spiritual bond of the Chinese nation and an important carrier of inheriting folk customs.

附录：英语沙龙简介

英语沙龙是我们最传统的活动形式，它形式多样，包括深度讨论、话题辩论、演讲、电影电视剧欣赏与分享、英语桌游、英语即兴表演、户外活动等形式。

沙龙参与者以白领一族为主，人数从 15 到35人不等。英语水平以能对话为基准，其中不乏母语水平会话者或有海外学习工作经验的朋友，通过他们的带动，激励了大家共同提高水平。

沙龙活动要求每个人都必须全程用英语交谈，虽然有些强制，但很有效，通过与其他人交流来提高英语水平。每期活动均会有主持人，提前发布讨论话题与讨论稿。活动在主持人的引领下有序进行。

沙龙活动每周同一时间举行，特殊情况暂停活动会提前通知。

沙龙活动的流程：

1）志愿者确定主持人。主持人是流动的，原则上不允许 1 个人连续主持。

2）主持人选择话题，写讨论稿；写完后发给志愿者。

3）志愿者将主持人和讨论稿（注：视情况，写 word 或者 ppt）发给宣传人员；同时，将讨论稿上传到活动的 QQ 群中。

4）在活动当日，主持人带领参与者完成所有环节，包括讨论、辩论、表演等。

5）志愿者当场选择下 1 次活动的主持人。
