【故事梗概】PlotIntroduction:

This satirical adaptation condenses Shakespeare's Hamlet into a witty and humorous version, while retaining the essence of the original tragedy. The plot follows Prince Hamlet of Denmark, who is grief-stricken and enraged after learning that his uncle Claudius has murdered his father, taken the throne, and married Queen Gertrude.

Urged by the ghost of his father to seek revenge, Hamlet pretends to be mad while he plots his next move. His erratic behavior confuses the royal court, alarms his beloved Ophelia, and leads to a tragic chain of misunderstandings and accidental deaths.

In true parody fashion, the story is presented with absurd twists, exaggerated characters, and clever wordplay, poking fun at the seriousness of the original while still following its core trajectory. Classic scenes—such as the play-within-a-play, Polonius hiding behind the arras, and the final duel—are all presented with comedic flair.

By the end, nearly all the main characters lie dead, but instead of solemn tragedy, the play ends on a note of theatrical irony and satirical reflection.

这部戏仿改编作品将莎士比亚的《哈姆雷特》浓缩为机智幽默的版本，同时保留了原悲剧的精髓。故事聚焦丹麦王子哈姆雷特——当他得知叔父克劳狄斯谋害父王、篡夺王位并迎娶母亲格特鲁德王后时，陷入悲愤交加的深渊。

在父王亡魂的复仇催促下，哈姆雷特佯装疯癫暗中谋划。他乖张的行径令朝堂困惑不已，使挚爱奥菲莉亚忧心忡忡，最终引发连环误会与意外死亡的悲剧。

作品以典型戏仿手法呈现荒诞的情节转折、夸张的角色塑造和精妙的文字游戏，既揶揄原作的庄严肃穆，又忠实遵循其核心脉络。经典场景——诸如戏中戏、波洛涅斯藏身挂毯后的桥段，以及最终决斗——皆被赋予喜剧色彩。

当帷幕落下，几乎所有主角皆已殒命。但不同于原著的沉郁悲怆，本剧终场以戏剧反讽与荒诞反思收束，让观众在会心一笑中体味命运的无常。

【剧团简介】Introduction to the group：

Founded in 1946, the State Puppet Theatre – Plovdiv stands as one of Bulgaria's most esteemed cultural institutions. With a repertoire exceeding 340 productions, the theatre has captivated audiences both young and old, presenting approximately five new performances annually to over 40,000 spectators. Its commitment to artistic excellence has earned it more than 80 prestigious awards and the distinguished Order of St. Cyril and Methodius – First Degree. The theatre's influence extends internationally, having toured in over 40 countries and participated in numerous global festivals. Notably, six of its performances are preserved in the "Golden Fund" of Bulgarian National Television. Beyond its productions, the theatre fosters cultural exchange by organizing the annual international puppet festival"Three Are Too Many, Two – Not Enough", celebrating the rich tradition and innovation of puppetry arts.

普罗夫迪夫国家木偶剧院成立于1946年，是保加利亚最负盛名的文化机构之一。该剧院拥有超过340部保留剧目，常年吸引着各年龄层的观众，每年推出约五部新作品，吸引逾4万名观众。其对艺术卓越的执着追求，为其赢得了80余项著名奖项以及一级圣西里尔与美多德勋章这一崇高荣誉。剧院的影响力远及国际，其足迹已遍布全球40余个国家，并参与了众多国际艺术节。尤为值得一提的是，该剧院有六部作品被收录在保加利亚国家电视台的“黄金典藏”系列中。除其剧目制作外，剧院还通过组织一年一度的国际木偶艺术节——“三个太多，两个不够”来促进文化交流，旨在庆祝木偶艺术的深厚传统与创新活力。

【作品构思及艺术特色】Concept and artistic features of the play：

The performance "Hamlet" by the State Puppet Theatre – Plovdiv, directed by Sabi Sabev, offers a fresh and ironic take on Shakespeare’s classic tragedy. Inspired by the parodic text of American Shakespearean scholar Richard Armour, the show blends the original plot with humorous commentary, making the story accessible and entertaining to a wide audience.

The scenography by Emiliana Andonova-Toteva and music by Veselin Koychev help create a dynamic and visually engaging atmosphere. The cast features Andrey Ivanov, Dimitar Nikolov – Shablata, Stayko Staykov, and Ventseslav Dimitrov, who bring the well-known characters to life with energy and a great sense of humor.

The production has been featured in more than ten international festivals across countries like Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Turkey, and has received numerous prestigious awards. It is suitable both for Shakespeare enthusiasts and for audiences newly discovering his work.
